$104,211 funded since 2006
The Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF) has been generous to the city of Rippey by funding 26 unique projects over the past 18 years. The organizations that have sought these funds over the years are Rippey public library, Rippey fire department, and Friends of Rippey. They have brought vital improvements to their community in a variety of ways.
Some projects made possible through funding from the GCCF are the Rippey Ballpark updates, Rippey Community Room updates, pickleball courts, Galloping Goose Recreation Trail, and various library furnishings. “Next time you are in Rippey, stop by and check these out for yourself,” said Rippey resident and GCCF board member Mark Devilbiss. “The organizations and volunteers would be happy to share how they are working to make their community the best it can be.”
The GCCF mission is to create opportunities for quality of life improvement and economic growth in Greene County. Persons can help bring this mission into reality by contributing to the GCCF. Donations are being accepted online at forgreenecounty.org or mail directly to GCCF P.O. Box 85, Jefferson, IA 50129
